Ordering & Process
How do I order a custom artwork?
Simply fill out the order form or send me a message, email, or WhatsApp with your photo(s) and what you have in mind. I’ll guide you through the process and confirm all the details before I begin.
What happens after I place my order?
Once I receive your request, I’ll review your photos and confirm everything with you. We will discuss the medium, size, and composition that will best fit your portrait. I will send you a rough line drawing of the painting before we begin. I’ll then begin creating your artwork and keep you updated along the way, sending updated photos of the progress.
What kind of photos should I send?
Clear, well-lit photos work best. Natural light and close-up shots help me capture the personality and details. The eyes are the soul of the portrait, as I’ll need to see the correct colours of the coat as well. If you’re unsure, feel free to send a few options, and I’ll help you choose.
Can you combine multiple photos into one artwork?
Yes, absolutely. I can work from different photos to create one meaningful piece—perfect if your pets or loved ones aren’t in the same photo.
Can I request specific details or changes?
Of course. This is a collaborative process, and I want your artwork to feel just right. Depending on the medium, revisions are not always possible at the end when the artwork is done. So step-by-step updates can allow for amending incorrect colours or features.
Can you create a portrait of a pet that has passed away?
Yes. I understand how special these pieces are. I can work from older or multiple photos to create a meaningful tribute that honours your pet’s memory. 
Will the artwork really look like my pet?
Capturing personality and likeness is at the heart of what I do. I take great care with every detail to create something that truly feels like them.
How long does it take?
Turnaround time is usually between 10–14 days, depending on the complexity and size of the piece.
Do you offer rush orders?
If you need your artwork sooner (for a gift or special occasion), please let me know—I’ll always try my best to accommodate.
Do you offer framing?
Framing options may be available depending on your location. Please get in touch to discuss what’s possible.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship worldwide.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on your location. I’ll provide an estimate once your order is ready. You can organise your own courier for pick up if you prefer.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes, tracking details will be shared once your artwork has been shipped.
How much does a custom artwork cost?
Pricing depends on the size, complexity, and number of subjects. See my Pricelist 2026. Please get in touch for a personalised quote. I ask for a 50% non refundable deposit before I begin with the portrait. The balance is payable before I ship it to you. Updated video and photos will be sent of the final product before shipping.
How do I pay?
Payment details will be shared once we’ve confirmed your order.
Can I make changes once the artwork is started?
Yes, I allow revisions at certain stages to ensure you’re happy with the final piece.
What if I’m not satisfied?
Your satisfaction is very important to me. I’ll work with you to make adjustments where possible so that you love your artwork.
